Large Animal Veterinary Care at Cornerstone Veterinary Hospital
At Cornerstone Veterinary Hospital, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional veterinary care for large animals. Our team is committed to the health and well-being of your livestock and farm animals. From routine herd health visits and preventative care to laboratory services and sick visits , we offer a comprehensive range of services tailored to meet the specific needs of your animals. We treat horses, cattle, goats, sheep, alpacas, pot-bellied pigs and occasionally poultry. We see most animals on the farm but do have accommodations to see some animals in the hospital. We typically see pot-bellied pigs in the hospital only.
Please note that we are no longer able to offer after-hours emergency care for large animals. New England Equine’s Field service often provides emergency services to non-clients and will see a variety of species on a case by case basis. Herd Health visits
These are done on the farm, where your animals and facilities are inspected and discussed. This can include reproductive services for cattle, goats and sheep with ultrasound and/or blood test, preventative services like vaccinations and deworming, and routine procedures like castration and dehorning. Annual herd and farm visits are required federally to maintain an active veterinary-client relationship. This allows us to provide advice and guidance throughout the year.
Laboratory Services
At Cornerstone Veterinary Hospital, we have a fully equipped laboratory dedicated to large animal healthcare. Our state-of-the-art laboratory facilities enable us to perform a wide array of diagnostic tests, including blood work, fecal analysis, and microbiology.
